Privacy policy

This policy explains how Ventura handles the personal data of people who visit this website or contact us through it, in accordance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018, LGPD).

1. Data controller

VENTURA ESTRATÉGIA E COMUNICAÇÃO LTDA, Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) No. 60.604.213/0001-54, trading as Ventura through its units Strategy and Communication and Creative Studio. For any matter concerning personal data, write to contato@claudioventura.com.br.

2. Data we receive

When you write to us. Through the contact form: name, company or institution (optional), email, subject and message. By direct email: the details you choose to send.

When you browse the website. We measure visits in aggregate, anonymous form: page visited, referring website or search, approximate country and region, device type, browser and operating system, and actions such as button clicks. This measurement uses no cookies, does not identify you and does not follow you to other websites.

Technical logs. Like any website, the hosting server records technical access data, such as IP address, date and time and the page requested, to keep the website secure and working.

We do not ask for sensitive data. Please do not include it in your message.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To reply to your message and follow up on the matter, including proposals and contracts: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (art. 7, V) and legitimate interest (art. 7, IX).
  • To understand how the website is found and used, in order to improve it, through anonymous browsing statistics: legitimate interest (art. 7, IX).
  • To keep the website secure and meet legal obligations, through technical logs: compliance with a legal obligation (art. 7, II) and legitimate interest (art. 7, IX).

We do not use your data for newsletters, advertising or bulk email. We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not build individual visitor profiles.

4. Cookies

This website uses no cookies. Typefaces, images and other files are served by the website itself, with no calls to third-party services that store information on your device. If this changes, this policy will be updated beforehand, and we will ask for your permission where the law requires it.

5. Sharing

Only with service providers needed to run the website and handle communication, who process the data on our instructions: website hosting, delivery of contact form messages, email service and visitor statistics. The statistics service receives no data that identifies you.

Data may also be disclosed to authorities where required by law or court order.

6. International transfers

Some of these providers store data outside Brazil. In such cases, the transfer follows the requirements of the LGPD and of Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD), such as standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep data

  • Contact messages: for as long as needed to handle the matter and for up to 2 years after the last contact, unless they lead to a proposal or contract, in which case the applicable legal periods apply.
  • Browsing statistics: kept only in aggregate, anonymous form.
  • Technical logs: for the period required by law and by the hosting provider's policy.

We do not keep a contacts database. Messages remain in the mailbox used to reply to them.

8. Security

The website runs only over a secure connection (HTTPS), does not rely on third-party services to load, and access to messages received is restricted to the people who reply to them.

9. Your rights

At any time and free of charge, you may: confirm whether we process your data; access it; correct incomplete or out-of-date data; ask for unnecessary data to be deleted, anonymised or blocked; request portability; find out who we share it with; and object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To do so, write to contato@claudioventura.com.br. We will reply within the period set by law. You may also lodge a complaint with the ANPD at www.gov.br/anpd.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated. The date at the top shows the version in force.
